David Walker's Bio
David spent 11 years as a law enforcement officer in the state of Florida. He began his career as a patrol officer
before promotions allowed him the opportunity to become a patrol supervisor and eventually a criminal investigator,
investigating felony crimes including homicides, robberies, financial crimes, and internet crimes against children.
He eventually sought out a different career path in 2014 in Occupational Safety and Health and possesses a bachelor’s degree
from Columbia Southern University in this field, along with a CSP through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
He currently works for a global material handling company as a corporate safety manager for North America, ensuring employee safety
and compliance with OSHA regulations. His family (wife, two teenage children, and 2 goldendoodles) moved into the Forest in 2021.
David’s primary goal regarding the HOA is to ensure it is run in a legal manner with the best interests of all residents in mind.

Edward Burdon's Bio
Hello my name is Edward Burdon. Kendra and I moved to the neighborhood in March of 2025. We share 5 adult children together from a previous life.
I was a self employed contractor for 20 plus years, managing up to 18 people. I traded that career to move to Florida and manage 5 companies in the marketing industry, managing 20 people working locally and remote. I was a minor hockey head coach for 20 plus years, with 4 sons playing from age 4 to 18. Along with coaching I volunteered for the hockey association board climbing through the chain to Director of Conduct and Risk, looking after 1100 kids at our peak, answering only to the President. When the President resigned I stepped into those duties also for the balance of the season till a new President could be elected. I am highly organized digitally, I am proficient in MS Office, G-Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, QuickBooks Enterprise Master.
I enjoy golf in my spare time.
I put up my hand to help the community. I offer direct factual communication focusing on common sense that benefits the community as a whole. My focus is maintaining property values, improving our shared spaces, coming together as a community and ensuring responsible financial decisions. I value efficiency, transparent operations, and outcomes that benefit the whole community. I believe board time should be spent on big-picture priorities for the enhancement and sustainability of our community. My goal is a well-run, efficient HOA that respects residents’ time and money. I'm excited to represent our community in this leadership role and look forward to meeting our neighbors.

Community Information Manager
This is a volunteer position appointed by The Forest HOA Board. The CIM manages content on the HOA Website.
The CIM also facilitates communication channels between the community of home owners in the Forest,
The Forest at Ridgewood HOA BOD, and the Management Company.
Rob Tobey's Bio
Rob has worn several hats during his life. He started in upstate NY, as an electrician, theater lighting/sound designer,
then a general contractor in his family's business. Rob then went on to become a professional sand sculptor/promoter for 20 years.
Rob is also an Internet Developer with a patent in Search Engine Technology, and
volunteered as the President of the Wheatland Area Business Assoiciation in Scottsville, New York.
Rob has worked as a Scenic Artist at Disney World for the past 18 years.
Rob and his wife Heidi, a Functional Medicine Health Coach, have lived in The Forest since 2017
Rob has volunteered his services to create and maintain this Website and hopefully help bring the Forest home ownwers together as an
active community of friends and neighbors.
